The web page on our System Manager will often not oad at all or be extremely slow. What causes this problem? Avaya told me to stop/start the jboss service and sometimes that works. Sometimes though, it takes forever for the web page to begin working again. I mean more than an hour. Is there something going on behind the scenes I should look at? Anyone know exactly why the web page stops working? The server itself seems fine. I can SSH to it.

P.S.
The last time this happened (I actually have the problem right now and can't get the page to load), I even totally rebooted the physical server this SMGR server runs on and it still won't load the web page after more than 30 minutes or waiting after the reboot. I'm stuck...

This is on Sys Mgr 6.0.7.0

I found the ‘TOP’ command which lets you see what the CPU and memory usage is (live) for the various services running. I checked to see what was being used during the time it wasn’t working and I noticed JAVA was eating up all the CPU. If I stopped the JBOSS service Java went away and the CPU went back to normal. As soon as I started Jboss again and tried to log in on the web page, the CPU was eaten up by Java again and the page would not load.

If no one knows of an easy way to fix this, I guess we'll need to get Avaya to look at it. I don't know why Jboss/Java is doing this.

Mysteriously, sometime later when I check it's working fine. But I can never tell when it will be working fine and when it'll be unusable.

I am having the exact same issue on 6.1 SP7. We are planning on going to 6.2 SP2 but I don't know that this will help. But it was the first recommendation offered.
