system manager on a client

I want to have the System Manager for Exchange 2000 on my XP Pro client. What is the appropriate tool kit for this. Thanks in advance.

You install it from the exchange server cd. Just select the management tools

Hmm, worked fine on my machine. I already had the 2003 admin pack installed on my XP desktop with SP2.

And I had installed thaty hotfix already. So I left a couple of steps out.

from the error message that i see when trying to do this, it means that all parent objects have to be installed, i.e. you have to install Exchange server on the client. can anyone clear this up for me?

nope, my mistake I have got this up and running. was just being a little impatient.
