Looking for a document for an integration for Avaya session Manager and Skype for business integration.

This is a fairly simple integration, as in the skype pbx will need a sip link setup in session manager to send and receive calls to the Avaya CM 6.3 system as well as Avaya will need to dial out to the Skype for a few new extensions in the Skype PBX. What I am not sure of is the trunking and routing requirements on the CM side beyond the entity links in System Manager. I am unable to locate a good document on this.

There isn't any very good documentation on it. We just went through this earlier this year. You would think it's fairly simple but remember that SFB doesn't support G.729. We also encountered some issues with calls coming in through our SBC through the Session Managers and out to Skype would drop after system timeouts were reached for no ACKs since Skype tried redirecting the call directly to the calling party attempting to bypass the SBC entirely.

Codec support and planning -
I'll see what else I can dig up from our implementation.

Just found that to resolve the redirecting issue the Avaya engineering notes read

"Microsoft may be following obsoleted RFC2543. The ACK message is not built to RFC3261 specifications.
A sigma script was applied to the SBCE that removed Record Route header from 200 type messages going towards the ASM.

Thanks for the info Wanebo, That is also the only document I found as well. Ill give this a go soon and see how it goes.
