System file can't be found

Help everytime a NetWare 5.1 server is rebooted we get this error message system file cannot be found Reseat raid card and it boots up fine!!??

It goes through the post then gets to loading the sys files and you get a Cprompt in the nwserver folder type server to load the server it shows the netware logon and freezes?

Could possibly be a slot or RAID card problem? Try swapping the RAID card to another slot ensuring that you also amend the STARTUP.NCF file changing the slot number when the RAID driver is loaded.

It sounds like it can not load the sys volume for some reason. I agree that it can be a driver/slot number problem. I would check to see if there is an updated driver for the raid card.
