I'm running Sysinternal's pgsetsid and trying to output the results to a .txt file. I've tried:

C:\temp\pggetsid @sid.txt > results.txt

where @sid.txt is the list of machines I'd like to query. I can run it without the > results.txt fine and see the results as it works at the command prompt, but with the > results.txt it just creates an empty file.

What am I missing?

What are the Access Permissions in the folder that is receiving the text output?

Try using 2 >'s instead of one
i.e.
c:\temp\pggetsid @sid.txt >> results.txt

Hope this helps.

Linney--the Access Permissions in the folder that is receiving the text output is Full Access for Users.

Lhuegele--I tried >> to no avail. Thanks for your suggestion though!

Lhuegele--I apologize--the >> did work after all. Thank you.
