how do I set up a network printer to be the sys printer? i have a c-lan card and i use ASA for admin through the network...any help is appreciated...

1) Enter the IP address in the node-names ip form
2) Enter the node-name and subnet in the ip-interfaces form
3) Enter sys-prnt in the ip-services form use port 9100.

After setting up a sys prnt as described above, i get a warning on sys prnt. And ideas?

Can you print at all?
Make sure that the C-LAN can reach the Printer.
This can be done using "ping ip-address <x.x.x.x>"
Check if the printer has IP printing switched on, and whether that is on port 9100, HP usually is 9100.
This error is caused by the fact the switch does not have a link with the printer.
