I just upgraded about 5 IPSI board FW's and when I went to activate this 1 specific IPSI I know have this minor alarm 'SYS-LINK' What is this and how does this get cleared?

System links are packet links that originate at the Packet Interface board and traverse various
hardware components to specific endpoints. The hardware components involved on the forward
and reverse routes can be different, depending upon the configuration and switch
administration. Various types of links are defined by their endpoints:

try the command: test sys-link location long clear

It doesn't say in the maint guide, by I would think that it would be a destructive test. Yes.
thx,

For instance.. when I do a 'list sys-link' I have a bunch of entries in there. None of them have caused a minor alarm except this IPSI 2b01 location. What would the syntax be just for that entry?

If your IPSI causing alarm is the standby IPSI, you could just busy it and reset it, or manually pull the card and reseat it.
thx,

I did busy/release it earlier and that didn't clear the alarm from CM
