Synchonisation Problems

I have 2 domain servers set up with DFS and with a active directory DNS.

The problem is that the clients have their desktops, my documents, offline files etc all synchronised to one of the servers and when the server to sync with goes offline the sync icon pops up and seems to cause problems - is there a way to have the clients synchronise to both machine?
