Hi, we are curently having a problem with our clock sync
the clock on our PBX ahead it self
i know there´s a way to sync the server clock with a internet server but i dont know how
anything that can help?
but i cannot do that cause it will affect my cms reports and cdr reports
thats what i do but every other month during maintenance schedule, what i am trying to do it is to set it up automatically
ok that will work perfectly for our system but i have a question, yesterday i was working late shift and change the clock time then when i came in this morning i find out that after a few minutes later there´s on the history another change
auto set time and no one was here!! i think there is something configured on our system to automatically synch both server and mess up my change
does anyone known any auto-change or anything related that can affect this changes
my server head it self like 4 minutes since that change
thanks
You need to setup the same time on both active and stand-by servers. If the time is different and there is an interchange, the time will be set again by the previously stand-by server...
Ok this problem happens again...the clock ahead it self again i saw on the history a auto set time last night but i dont know where is this auto time set it up
does anyone know how to fix this?
thanks
this is causing me a lot of problems
no actually someone told me that the last auto time was set it up by him
but the clock a head it itself anyways just double check and is like 3 minutes ahead than our official time
anything that can cause this problem?
thanks
In ASA under "fault and performance" we have a time synchronization link where you can schedule it to run. I'm not sure if your system has the same thing though?
It looks like it will only sync with the PC that ASA is running on, there is no setting for an "internet server", as you state above so this might not be it for you, but I thought I would mention it.
