We are currently running Symantec 7.5 on an NT4 Server and plan to upgrade over the weekend to SAV CE 8.1 on the same server. This server currently manages 7.5 and 7.6 clients. Once the server is upgraded to 8.1, can the clients still be managed and co-exist with the updated server. I was unable to find any concrete information from Symantec.

Symantec Upgrade Question

We did the same thing and the clients worked fine with the new version of the server....even pushed down the new definitions fine.
You may want to make another server your primary server while upgrading. This way you save all your settings. After you finish the upgrade, make the old server the primary server once again. Called Symantec support when upgrading our system and they recommended this.
