Symantec Firewall cpu temperature alert

Great question, By default the SGS will alert with a 516 Alert message if the CPU Temperature is to low/high. The normal range is between 0° to 80 so if the SGS goes above or below this temperature it will send an alert to the log file.

So if you want to receive a notification eg: email, page etc then all you have to do is setup a notification within the SRMC, I have added a link to a KB on the Symantec site that will help you setup a email notification.
