Is Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 4.0 the new version of Symantec AntiVirus for SMTP Gateways 3.1? I got some cd's from Symantec yesterday, and I am a bit confused. Can someone tell me if there is a difference between these two products? I have Symantec AntiVirus for SMTP Gateways 3.1 installed, is there any point in installing Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 4.0 instead, or as an additional software?

Symantec Mail Security 4.0 was the new name given to Symantec Antivirus filtering SMTP.
I havent used Mail Security 4.0 yet but they have meant to of added in alot more stuff. Blacklists, whitelists, Exchange 2k3 support,
