I've set two answer points for Day, Night1 and Night2 in the non-Dial in trunk form. The answer point for Day is an LDN key programmed on the console. The answer point for Night1 & Night2 is a speed call that rings to the GMs cell phone. I'm being told that when calling the MTN, the console rings approximately 8 times and then forwards to the GMs cell phone. I have no recall points programmed in form 19. I deleted the answer points for Night1 & Night2, called the MTN, rang approximately 8 times but this time embedded voice mail answered the call.

Is there a timer that will cause calls to the Day answer point to change or cover to a night answer point?

Thanks

COS Option 107 = Attendant Forward No Answer
COS option 118 = No Answer Timer

Option 107 enabled will cause calls ringing an LDN to overflow to the Night Answer position

Check COS for Console and trunks

Got it! Thanks kwb!

I'm now trying to shorten the ring cycle. It currently rings approximately 7-8 times before covering to voice mail. I've shortened the COS option Attendant Call Fwd No Answer Timer from 30 seconds to 12 seconds for the sub attendant, console, and trunks COS. I called the number and tested but found that it still rings 7-8 times before covering to voice mail.

I failed to mention that I have a subattendant programmed with LDN keys as well. I have changed the COS options for it but the ring cycle is still unchanged.

Thanks

I may have it fixed

I was going to advise you that there must be a COS you missed.

What was it?
