I want to program several IP phones with the ability to pickup inbound phone calls ringing on an LDN key programmed on a console. I don't beleive the Directed Call Pickup feature access code will work. I do think that TAFAS will work but I'm not certain how to program it. I'm sure I need to enable it in the COS for the IP phones. There are three TAFAS options in the COS: TAFAS Any Access, TAFAS Access Tenant, and TAFAS Access During Day Service. I'm certain the one I want to enable is the TAFAS During Day Service because calls will not ring on the console when either Night mode is active correct? Does the TAFAS also need to be activated in the COS for the Console? I don't beleive it does but I'd like some reinforcement.

Once that is enabled, if someone wanted to pick up a call ringing on the LDN key of the console, which TAFAS FAC would they dial on their phone: TAFAS Any or TAFAS-Local Tenant. There is only a single tenant set up on this system.

Apologies for asking for definitons but I do not have the Folio files for the SX200 AX. I assume that is where this information can be found.

Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured it out. Each phone that I changed to a sub att could only make internal calls. I had them change the call permission on each ext to LD. Problem solved.

Everything seems to be working properly with one exception. Guests are getting a fast busy signal after they push the speed dial button for the front desk. I created two LDNs: 1)821 Main Number which is used for incoming calls to the main number. 2)819 House Host which is used for internal calls from Guests. The front desk speed dial was initially programmed to ring the extension of the console. It worked fine. After learning about programming the LDN keys, I realized I could create an LDN key for internal calls so the person at the front desk would know the call was coming from a guest room and not the outside world. The issue is that when you push the speed dial button for the front desk, it rings fast busy.

I had someone dial the FAC for system abbrv dial followed by bin number and the LDN number appeared on the display. So I know it's hitting the speed dial correctly.

Calls should be terminated to LDN's via Form 19 (Dial zero) for internal calls

Form 19 would also control PRI termination to LDN or Form 14 for Analog

You cannot typically dial an LDN directly as you are trying.
