I don't know the complete details, but I believe there is some kind of rmats module/card that is needed. So, you are on the right track. There was a post a couple of weeks ago that had a website with a complete line of Mitel manuals, I believe the 50 manual was on the site. Maybe you can find the site and read the manual from there.
You may or may not find your answer there.
