I need help with a Database Restore on a Mitel SX200 El/ML.
Im using Procomm Plus 4.8 and every time i get to 4% of the restore it aborts!
What should my settings be in procomm? I never had this problem in the past.
Any help is appreciated.

try hyperterm, comes with windows.

make sure you are using the Kermit option in Procomm.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Thanks jsaad
hyperterm worked how ever the system goes in to software decompression over and over again. It never completes the "boot".

nytalking, i have it in kermit but it wont work after 4% it abort the load. Strange I know
I was thinking last night i have never done a restore on this laptop. I am using a USB to serial adapter and have never done a restore wit one in the past. Any one else try using one during a restore?
Thanks for the input.

I beleive you might have to change the Maximum Packet size for Kermit in Procomm.

Mine is set to 1024
Also recommend setting to 1 byte checksum

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I have used the usb to serial adapter with hyperterminal for restores and have yet to experience any problems.

"The only problem with common sense is that it's not that common
