Swithching between 2 Domains 1

Hi

I want to know whether is it possible to achieve this. First i have the company domain call it D1 i'm a member of this to be able to use the company's email etc.. Now our department has bought it's own server and wants to create a new domain D2 which belongs to the department only.

Can i have a set up so that i can switch between the 2 domains which does not require me to have each time call the IT staff to add me back to the D1 the company network?

It's basically like i'm working for 2 companies each with their own domain..i'm using win2k with win2003 server as department server D2.

Any comments or help will be appreciated.

Why not set up a trust and then log on to the correct domain?

i.e. a two way trust

You can then have your machine in D1 and log on to the D2 domain when necessary.

First Thanks a lot for your help

I have a couple of things i want to clear out.. after i set up a two way trust does it means other ppl on D1 will be able to see D2? and have access to it just like i can access other server in D1?

Is is any place where i can find any informations about two way trust?

pick out the articles you need. In W2K/2003 trusts are two way and transitive normally. In NT it was terrible to create some trusts relations. In 2K/2003 it is much easier.
