Switching between Office 2003 and 2007

Hello

I have both Office 2003 and 2007 installed on my computer, and I need them both. If I'm working lately on 2007 and then I want to open 2003, an Install window shows up and disappears almost right away, there's no problem with that. But then, if I want to open 2007, a diffirent blue window shows up saying "Configuring Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007" and it takes a few minutes to finish as if it's reinstalling the software. It's a bit annoying to always show up when I want to switch between the two versions, and I do very often. Note that if I cancel the Configuration Process in the middle, the new Word (or whatever) page shows up afterward normally without any problems, so I can't understand what importance does the process have. How can I remove it?

because 2007 is very complicated and different from 2003 which makes it hard for my parents,, sister and brother to use.. but I need the few additional options that 2007 provides.
