As of the beginning of May, the voicemail-to-email stopped working at the place where I work for gmail. I created an app password in Google Security and changed the password the the app password no luck getting it working again
You have to setup an Application Password to continue to use a google account as less secure apps is no longer available.
You can search online on how to do that. I believe you have to turn on two factor in the gmail account settings, then you can add an app password, and can turn off two factor afterwards.
The app password is a bunch of upper case letters with spaces I think it was. Try with and without the spaces lol. All the other settings were the same.
Then be logged in to the gmail account and see if it shows emails sent from the PBX.
We use an NEC SV9100 phone system, which was previously configured to send voicemail messages to our Gmail accounts via InMail SMTP. However, this functionality broke recently when Google began enforcing OAuth, which the SV9100 does not support. I work at a small technical school that uses...
Couple ways to get this to work. One is be on an SV9100 CP20. Two, subscribe to an SMTP service or implement an smtp server locally. Three get a 360 account for smtp traffic.
