Setting up Survivability and not completely positive if everything is done. So the solution is going to grow to a large multi site network but currently just starting the deployment. The main core is a CM Duplex Rls 8.0 (a G450 gateway at this site with a couple of PRI's but no users) a backup core in anothe site is a Simplex ESS (also G450, couple PRI no users) the remote sites are all G450's and sites have LSP's for local survivability. So all remote site G450's should be on the Duplex, Fail to the ESS, then fail to their local site LSP.
In the G450 I have set the mgc list as the IP for duplex,ESS,LSP and set the reset-time transition to 2 (should this be 2 or 1?)
The ESS and LSP are defined as Survivable servers in the Primary and are registered and sync'd
the Media Gateways are set to recovery rule 1 which is setup as immediate and min network stability set to 3
When did some testing today shutdown the duplex and the gateways registered to the ESS, returned the Duplex to service but the gateways stayed on the ESS. Is this normal or have a missed a step or two?
