Suppressing group if less than two records 1

If date is your outer group (Grp#1) and you also have an inner group on {table.staff} (Grp#2), then go to report->edit selection formula->GROUP and enter:
count({table.event},{table.staff}) > 1
This will display only those staff with more than one event on the particular date.
