I have a report that runs and I have a column called hours. There are duplicated hours in this and I have selected suppress if duplicated. But the total for this column still includes the suppressed data. Is there any way to suppress if duplicated and for it to not be included in the totals if I do an insert summary.

Thanks

Try to create a running total to summarize the hours.
Or a formula with whileprintingrecords before it.

Thanks for the quick respone, I have tried the following formula
whileprintingrecords;
Sum ({Command.double05}, {Command.name(1)})
but this still comes up with the same total.
Do you have any more ideas please?
Thanks

Create a running total that will summarize the field you need, and choose: Evaluate on change of the field and add the hours field. Place the running total where now you have the summary.
