Suppress a Group Header on Drill Down

How do I suppress a group header on drill down in version SCR v8? Does anyone have any formula's I can use? Here is an example of my data:

The group will always have only ONE record, and the details also will have only ONE record. I tried using running totals and various other options, but everything always totals (1).

"Show All Headers on Drill Down"

Please describe the problem in more detail.

Are you saying that you want to remove the
group header in the drill-down tab or do you
want to disable the drill-down functionality
for groups with only one detail record?

I want to suppress the GH when I click on the drilldown. When the report displays I see the Group Header fields, and then I would double click on the group header field to see the drilldown information. (my problem is that the group header fields also display with the drilldown data.

Do they show up only at the top?
If so - check again the option I described
in my first answer.

If they show up for each detail row, you may
have placed these fields in the detail section
(just remove them from that section).

Show headers on drilldown is off. Here is what my report looks like:

Group Header (I have the hide drilldown okay option on)
============
table.ABC

Details

table.aaa
table.bbb

When the report displays, all i see is one record in the group header information (table.abc)because hide drilldown is set to on and since the field is set to a parameter it will always be one record. The problem occurs when i click ion the GH field to display the drilldown it shows me the field (table.abc) again where all I want to see is

table.aaa
table.bbb

So, if I understand you correctly, the drilldown view
_is_ displaying the Group Header _section_, right?

If it does, than the option of:
"Show All Headers on Drill Down"
must be turned on. I have no other
explanation for it.

I too am having this same problem. Did you ever figure this out. The problem is this. I have a header that displays summary information that can be drilled down. When I drill down, header line I clicked on is displayed at the top of the drill down page. The only saving grace is that if I do the opposite of what was recommended and TURN ON the "Show All Headers on Drill Down" at least the header line has a header above it. If you turn off that option, the header line is displayed without any description of what the data is. It looks like an out of place line.

In CR9 There is a function in Print State Group - DrillDownGroupLevel, this tells at which drill down level you are at

You can use this to suppress fields in different drill down levels i.e.

in the suppress formula box of a field

DrillDownGroupLevel > 1

will suppress the field in all but the first drill down level.
