No, it won't run on Palm OS at all. If you want to create the same app for Palm OS you'll have to completely re-write all the parts that use the OS, such as input and output. Only your main algorithms would be similar.
It's like trying to write the same app for both desktop Windows and Linux - although there will be many similarities, huge parts of the code will be completely different.
