SUMPRODUCT gives #NAME? error

Hi,

I have a WorkBook that I created in Excel 2000 that uses SUMPRODUCT. When I opent he Workbook on another machine using Excel 2002, the SUMPRODUCT results fail (along with the WEEKNUM result).

When I say fails, I mean I get a #NAME? error.
I have checked my array definitions and they seem correct.

Does Excel 2002 support the SUMPRODUCT function?
Is this a known issue?
Is there a work around?

Original: Excel 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)
Fails on: Excel 2002 (10.6789.6735) SP3

Any help appreciated.

please post the formula - we are not mind readers.

Having said that, my telepathic powers suggest that you will need to install the ANALYSIS TOOLPAK add-in to be able to utilise the WEEKNUM formula

PS my question did not contain the formula as i knew there was nothing wrong with ti - but for the sake of completeness, the formula is below, in all it's glory:

=weeknum(a2)

apologies - I thought you meant that you had a WEEKNUM formula within the SUMPRODUCT formula....glad it solved your problem
