hello all,

I am using crystal xi and oracle 9.

I have a data base fields like exam_year and acres_amt.

i need last 5 years total acres_amt , 5-10 years,10-15,15-20
20-30 and >30 yrs like that.
at grand total.

i have one group field like prop_code.

help me.

Create a formula field that chooses one of the bands, based on year compaied to Year(Currentdate)

At the end of the report, you could place a crosstab based on this formula field, along with some other value.

Or you could create running totals, one per band.

What is contained in the exam-year field? Can we assume it is a number? Please show some samples. You should be able to create one formula that clusters the years in groups and then use that as your row field in a crosstab placed in the report footer.
