I currently have a T1 connected to a 1600. Can anyone suggest ways to increase this bandwidth and also what hardware would be required. Can I add a second T1 for instance? Thanks.

How do you have the current T1 connected to the router? There are 1600 models that have a serial connection, and a WAN port. If you currently have a CSU/DSU card in the Wan port, you can add an external CSU/DSU to handle another T1. You can then balance traffic coming from your network between those interfaces, the additional cost would be that of a CSU/DSU device, and the monthly cost of the link.

It does not have WAN port. It has a seperate CSU/DSU attached to the serial connection. But I'm not opposed to replacing that router if necessary. Thanks.
