suggested buyers of used Cisco

Good day folks,

I've seen plenty of adverts for companies that will buy used LAN hardware, as they are in the business of reselling it. Does anyone have experience with those types of companies that could give some suggested ones for me to contact?

OR... do those type of places grossly underpay, and should I just post it on Ebay?

Depends on what your selling. Some companies will give you up to 50% such as Network Hardware Resale. E-bay will get you decent returns on your equipment. Best of all is Cisco will trade that old equipment in if you purchase some of their new routers with the VPN bundle or VoIP bundle. They will give you a FAT trade in. Depends on what your looking for.

Oldies but goodies. Post it on Ebay, you won't get much, as these are osbolete devices, unless someone wants it in the lab.

1. Stocking Price - lower because the dealer is taking a "market risk" adding the unit to his warehouse inventory.

2. Purchase Order Price - highest because the dealer has a PO in hand for the unit.
