suddenly can't put files...

Hey there,
Glad to join the forum. I'm a filmmaker and also handle the web design activities for my company. I use Dreamweaver 8.0.2 and suddenly can't seem to PUT or GET files any more to either of my sites (one hosted by Register and the other is on GoDaddy). I can connect to the server and see the files, but as soon as I start trying to upload or change them, it just times out. Weird...

Everything was working great until recently, can't figure it out. My Mac can PUT just fine, but something must be conflicting on my Windows box. When I do "Test Connection" it says everything is fine on both sites.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the same sort of problem but I can get files but not put. Connection keeps dropping out everytime I try to put files. Have you come across any fix yet?

yes, it was a problem with the new spyware doctor. if you have it installed, get rid of it immediately and your dreamweaver will work again. apparently there is no fix for it and even though i kind of liked spyware doctor, apparently there are major issues with the code and the customer service really pissed me off too so i took the loss and moved on.
