I have been running word 97 on xp for over 6 months with no problem. All of a sudden when I click on the word icon access comes up. When I look at the file properties the icon is sending me to is access not windword.exe. I have completely uninstalled the whole office suite --many times--. After the install I click on the word icon the word application comes up for about 10 seconds then disapears from the screen. When I click on the icon again up comes access and the file path has been changed. ANY IDEAS
