We upgraded to Succession 3.0 and are having issues when callers are put on hold. The icon that appears next to the key will dissapear. Our vendors suggestion is perform a firmware upgrade on all sets. The problem is that we have 1500+ M3903 and M3904 sets and the firmware upgrade would take forever....does anyone have a known fix?

did you install the patches for that software?
Can you post your issp in LD 22

Here you go...thanks

your patch load is very lite, same upgrade, more phones, 25 patches, more or less, no firmware upgrade, no lamps acting up, i'd post my patches but i'm at home this week. they are posted here in response to someone, just don't remember where. can you force the problem to happen on your phone? if so upgrade it and see if you can still force it

the problem is resolved after a firmware upgrade. I know there are larger systems out there and there has to be an efficient fix for this (patch). I'll look for your patch list....thanks

check the pswv for the succession. I think it's like 84/85?

then check the pswv for the phones......just upgrade the ones that need it.

I would do a phased approach. Takes what, about 8 - 12 minutes per phone?

It sucks but there is no quick way to do it.

John
