Can I create subreports using Oracle Reports 9i. We only have 6i here and it doesn't have subreports.

there's an SRW package "Run_Report" which you could put in an appropriate trigger - possibly an AfterReport Trigger?
ie.
Function.......
Begin
SRW.RUN_REPORT c:\reports\doodle.rdf;
return (true);
end;
