I have a report that is supported by an SQL View db object. On the main report i have a parameter "ReportDate". I have a subreport which is supported by an SQL SPROC. The sproc has a ReportDate Parameter as well. Is their a way to pass the main report ReportDate value to the subreport sproc parameter? I've selected the main report ReportDate value to link to but them my sproc reportDate parameter does not show up in the link to list.

Any Ideas?

I have the same issue. I have a main report and a subreport. The subreport is based on stored procedure with parameters. I need to pass the main report parameters seamlessly to the subreport. But in the subreport links box. The subreport parameters do not appear in the "Subreport Parameter fields to use" box. Is this some report option that needs to be set? Any help would be appreciated.

Here is your solution
I am using Crystal vers 8.5. When you select a parameter field to link by, Crystal places in the "Subreport Parameter Field" box a field name that begins with "?Pm-". This will not link to your parameter field in your subreport. Click the "drop-down" button in the Subreport Parameter Field box, then use the tiny down arrow to scroll down and select the correct parameter field of your subreport. This sould link your parameter fields correctly and not prompt for the subreport parameters.

Good Luck.
