Subreport link 1

Hi Group, I have series of reports which are different views of the same data but formatted differently. I am trying to link one report to another as a subreport and then call a third report from the second but the link does not appear in the subreport. Is this a "Feature" of CR or is there a work around. FYI I am using 8.5

As far as I know, you can only link sub-reports from the main report. You cannot have sub-reports embedded into sub-reports. Steve Fairclough

Im not sure if I quite get what you are doing. However if you are trying to link two subreports together inside your main report, you can define a Shared Variable in your first subreport, reference it in your Mian report and then it will be available for linking in your last subreport. This is providing that your subreports are all attached to the Main report, it will not work if you are trying to run a subreport from a subreport.

Try running it as an 'on demand' hyperlink report.
