subreport keeps on duplicating on the main report

Hi,

I am using Crystal version 8.5. I have a main report which is filtered based on the user name. I have a sub report attached to the main report which is filtered on rectype. The reports are linked by accountno. The problem is the subreport keeps on repeating itself. I have clicked on format subreport and within the Common tab there is an option to supress the subreport if it is duplicated. Every time I click on this option and press OK it does not seem to be making a difference also when I go back to this option, it is no longer ticked.

Exactly how is the subreport duplicating? Is it in a detail section?

Note that you can pass a value back using Shared Variables, and then test this value for the next section.

You probably need to move the subreport to a group section, but you would have to identify where you want the subreport to appear--it's unclear whether you want it once per account number or what.
