Ok I am stumped.
We were recently using a subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0 We are chaging it to 255.255.252.0 due to expanding the network. HOwever when we changed it on the DHCP Server (Windows NT 4 sp6). I tried to ipconfig /release then /renew. I am unable to renew. Or IP address is within the limited range. Any ideas

Try to delete the scope on the DHCP server, restart it and then recreate it again with the required parameters.
After that: can your restarted clients get an IP address from that server?

Thanks for replying,

I got it working by reading a Microsoft KB for some reason you need to delete the old scope and recreate the new scope. I just deactivated the old. Did not realize deleting was necessary. Again thanks for the reply.
