How do I reference a control in a subform in SQL. I have tried Forms!MainForm.Subform.Control.Property.
Secondly is there anyway round having a form containing a continous subform containing a continous subform.

thank u

to refer to subforms use:

Forms!MainFormName!SubformName.Form![Control On Subform]

the first part refers to the control on your main form which is where your subform is

the '.Form' tells access that this controll is a form and it can have it's own controls.
[Control On Subform] is the name of the box or whatever on the subform. (if you leave this blank it refers to the whole form so you can do other things)
eq.

Forms!MainFormName!SubformName.Form.Requery

this Requeries the underlying data for the subformhope this helps.
