Trying to get my head round this problem. I've created a customer account sub form with 12 sales period columns, each of which has a column total within the forms footer =sum([Period1]). When the subform is viewed on its own, the total works fine.

However, when I place the subform into my main form, which filters a particular customer account, the sub forms total is #ERROR. Is it possible to keep the subtotal in the subform, or do I need to create a new sub total field within the main form itself?

Cheers s-)

Hmm, my guess is that the context needs to change for the data which is being called if you were pulling data from the original form. Now that it is a subform, pulling data from the original form probably does not work, so you would need to reference the data/controls through the current parent form.. That's my guess.
