I have a form with a subform in it. The subform is showing text from a memo field in another table. SUbform works fine but will not show more then 255 characters of the memo field. Tried enabling scroll bars , etc. Is there a clean way of doing this? Maybe the subform is not the way to go.

Hey JimUK....Are you sure it is a MEMO field and not a Text field? Text fields are limited to 255, Memo fields are not. take another look at your design of the table and make sure you have it set to "Memo"

Table field is indeed a memo field, but when i bring it on to my form as a subform it looks like the subform will only do text fields and not memo and is chopping my text off after 255 char. I'm stumped here.

I've just created a memo field in a sub form and it works perfectly.
I would try to re-create the memo field

Hope this helps
