Hello all.
I am working in an Access 2000 .ADP file (Access Project) They are very similar to Access .MDB files.

I have a form (MainForm) that has a Subform on the left hand side. This subform is a search subform called Search_List.

What I would like is for the form to come up with the Server Filter By Form turned on. (this is exactly like the Filter by Form property) I can't seem to get this to happen. I can get it to happen when I open the subform by itself but not when it is a subform.

If there is another way to provide a search in a subform on any of the fields in the underlying query besides filter by form that would work also.

If you need any more information, please let me know.

Chris

Hi,

You can try the Dlookup function and set its value (if any records are found) to the .BookMark property. Then requery the form based on the BookMark value. Hope this helps,
