subfolder templates

When right-clicking a folder and selecting properties, there is the customize tab that lets you apply template to a folder. There is also the option of applyinga certain template to all subfolders in that folder. Lately, that option hasn't been working. I click on apply this template to all subfolders and the subfolders just don't have the template I want, and neither do the subfolders in the subfolders. So I have to right click in every folder and choose the template that was already supposed to be set. What could be causing this? Thanks!!!

Maybe there is a problem with the Desktop.ini files. I wonder what would happen if you grabbed one from a folder where it was working and placed it in one of its subfolders?

Might be an idea to run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

You could always try and see if System Restore will get you back to a restore point before your problem with your customizations.
