Here is what I have.

1 Domain, 6 Sites - Each sites has their own DNS and DHCP Server.

Default-First-Site-Name (DFSN)
Site1
Site2
Site3
Site4
Site5

We currently only have 1 DNS Zone (blahblah.com) which gets replicated to each DNS server in each site (Ad-Integrated). Each DNS Server in the sites use forwards to point to the DFSN DNS Server...just incase something hasn't replicated.

I was thinking about implementing subdomains or delegation so we may have Site1.blahblah.com, Site2.BlahBlah.com, etc... I want to minimize replication as best I can and increase performance. A single person will be administering all DNS servers.

What recommendations does anyone recommend?

I doubt you'll see much of a performance gain, to be honest I think the increased work to administer the domain would outweigh any performance benefit.

Do you see any issues at the moment with your current setup?

Windows and NT Admin.

No I don't see any issues right now, I just want to make it a more effecient network and make sure everything is setup correctly. If I know it is setup correctly, it will help resolve others issues later if they arrise.

Just trying to be proactive.
