I have 2 Queries. QueryA is a union query written in SQL, showing combined details of the fields that 2 tables have in common. QueryB has been designed in the Design View, with it's subdatasheet set to QueryA.
When I open QueryA in the Datasheet View, I can resize the columns, resave the query, and there is no problem.
However, if I open QueryB in the Datasheet View, open QueryA as a subdatasheet, and then resize the columns and resave the query, QueryA becomes corrupted. Attempting to open it in the Datasheet View gives the error 'Query Input must contain at least one table or query', and attempting to open it in the Design View gives the error 'The search key was not found in any record'. QueryA seems unrecoverably lost.
What's causing this? Is there a way to recover the queries without rewriting them from scratch?
