Hi,
I'm trying to solve a problem with a subreport. It seems that when the main report is run and there are no values on the main report the subreport is not dipsplayed. The start and end date are linked to the sub report. When I run the subreport independent of the main report it runs fine. Soon as I run the main report it shows nothing. This report on most days runs fine, so I assume everything is set up correctly.

Thanks,

Crystal assumes that if there no records in the main report, there is no need to bother with the sub.

You might need to create an 'empty' main report that will always run but not print anything. Then put the main report and subreport into THAT report as 2 subreports.

I have thought of both those ideas and you have confirmed them.

Thank you
