String count???? 1

Hi

I have a question:

Is there a way to count the number of characters that are in a textbox or label? ... for example if i have the word "computer" i want a variable that tells me that that word has 8 characters.

len(textbox1)

should be able to use len(trim(texbox.text)) or len(trim(label.caption))
