Streets and Trips

Hello,
I have around 100 users I have converted to win2000pro, during this I upgraded there streets and trips prog to the new 2002 version. Using this version they have lost some of the prog functionality. They cannot get info on specific locations, cant map distance etc. I have loaded the newest svc pack (sp2) for windows and tried the older version of streets as well (to no avail) This product works fine on win98 but I cant seem to find any info on the net on why its not working on 2000. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

I ran into a similar issue with Office 2000 and upgrading from WIN98 to WIN-XP. In the end, Microsoft said to wipe the drive and start from scratch, with the oldest program going in first. Apparently, upgrading the OS is not as reliable as a clean install and some of the registry entries were causing problems (they couldn't tell me which entries). If you can do a clean install with one, as a test, you should be able to quickly ascertain if that resolves the problem.

Wish I had a better suggestion.
