Hi

I'm running a query, then hourglass, then nothing. I went into design mode and all was fine. I tried to exit the query and ths message box apperars.

This action will reset the current code in break mode.

Do you want to stop ruinning the code?

Yes - just seems to bring up same message box
No - lets you quit out of the query

Has anyone got any ideas on this. The DB was fine yesterday even the working backup is doing the same thing.

I have that message box happen when I query a large linked table and I'm in the query result view. When I switch to the query design view, I can exit with no message. Get the Best Answers! faq333-2924

Yes I am Linking to 3 external tables (using linked table manager)could it be a network traffic thing, our net work has been slow recently. I'm grasping at straws here, is something I have to fix?

When getting all that data from a linked table, access seems to get it in chunks for display. If you haven't viewed all of these chunks, you get the message. Some of my linked tables have millions of rows so I just go to design view to exit... I don't think you have to fix anything. Get the Best Answers! faq333-2924
