Strange files in Arcserve directory 1

Hi there,

In my Arcesrve directory I have noticed some files that should not be there , I think.
rAAAABFI.chg 64 KB
rAAAABFJ.chg 64 KB
rdm.chk 2528 KB
dbfix_t1 -> dbfix_t7 32 KB.

Can anyone tell me where they come from and how I can get rid of them ?

stop tape engine and delete all r*.* files. restart the tape engine.

The first three are covered in an faq I wrote in this forum under the Database section. The last are output files from dbfix. They should have been deleted when dbfix finished. Perhaps dbfix was stopped in the middle at one time. They also can be deleted.

By the way you have to stop the Database Engine and not the Tape Engine. Tape Engine has nothing to do with the database files.
