So I've got a user whos laptop is not authenticated to my domain. The computer is authenticated to a remote domain which he connects to via client VPN.

What I would like to do is give him access to use a specific share on my storage server so that his files can be backed up and secured.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this without authenticating him to my domain?

Thanks in advance.

how about creating a general user account (assuming your not giving general folder access to the domain user group) and then giving security and share rights to that folder only.
