Hi all,

I need to stop one (or possibly 2) users from being able to call a specific extension, whilst still allowing everyone else to call it and external calls to be allowed to come in to it via it's DDI number.

I believe I can't use a user shortcode (eg. 1234,,Busy) as I think that extensions take a higher precendence than shortcodes.

Any suggestions?

Alan

make a user short codejust like you said. that should work i have done it before

the IPO checks internal extns befor processing short codes so using a short code is not an option

it is posible using DND & DND exceptions but may require a lot of exceptions unles the blocked extsns start with a ubique digit

examole

allowed extns 200-299
bared extns 300-399

dnd expections
2N (allow anything begining with 2)
0N ( allow anything begining with 0, this will allow external calls in UK, it willneed ammending for the USA & posibly others)
